Here is what each option means:

Self-cover: The cover and inside pages are printed on the same paper stock.

Separate cover: The cover is printed on 250 gsm paper and the inside pages on your chosen paper.

When you click an option, you will see the page counts available for your personalised magazines. With a self-cover, this is the total number of pages. With a separate cover, the total includes the 4 cover pages: front cover, inside front cover, back cover and inside back cover.
